The server dream 🦸
A long time ago, we dreamed of our own data center of some sort. Today, homelabing is our hero! And, we'll be sharing what we've learned along the way.
It's on fever 🤯
Our first homelab is spec'd with AMD Ryzen 1600X 6-core 12-thread processor, solid state storage and NVidia GT 710 graphics. We scrapped it from our gaming PC that has been lying down doing nothing.
Now, it's up 24/7 to serve you. It's running Linux as Type-1 hypervisor. This allows us to run Virtual Machines and containers on bare-metal. Yes, it's fast!
